The Psychiatric Society of Virginia's fall meeting for 2017 is entitled "Disruption: Managing in a World of Chaos." The presentations will inform the participants on the subjects of trauma, stress disorder and suicide. It will cover the spectrum of syndromes that arise from trauma and these environmental stressors. These are all intended to inform those who practice medicine in order to improve decision-making and delivery of health care services to our patients.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the Psychiatric Society of Virginia. The APA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American Psychiatric Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 9.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
To claim all 9 hours of credit, you must attend the Integration of Care presentation on Friday, October 27 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm as well as the scientific session on October 28.
An evaluation form is provided to audience members for feedback and assessment of this activity. At the conclusion of the conference, physician participants will be provided with an opportunity to claim hours of participation and receive an official CME certificate by completing the online CME conference evaluation.
